Summary: GA International has developed a unique new breakthrough label technology, SnapPEEL, that allows rectangle and dot labels to be peeled and applied with greater ease.
GA International is proud to announce the development of this new labeling technology, SnapPEELTM, for peeling and applying circle and rectangle labels on cryo vials and microtubes. SnapPEEL is a patent pending technology that utilizes a unique new shape called CirTANGOTM, consisting of an adjoined circle-and-rectangle. This allows both labels to be peeled in a single motion and makes applying the circle labels on the vial cap more precise. Once the circle is attached, the rectangle portion can then be easily snapped off and applied on the side of the vial. This is in contrast to existing rectangle and circle labels that require a separate, two-step action to peel and affix the labels, with the dot labels often being difficult to peel and apply accurately, especially when wearing gloves. SnapPEEL significantly increases labeling efficiency and reduces excessive and unnecessary label manipulation and handling.
SnapPEEL technology is currently offered with our NitroTAG® brand of cryogenic labels for thermal-transfer printers, designed for long-term cryo-preservation under cryogenic laboratory conditions, including in liquid nitrogen. Waterproof, weatherproof, and durable, these cryo labels for cryo vials are perfect for identifying vials and tubes stored in lab freezers and liquid nitrogen tanks. They also resist spraying with alcohol, detergents, and wiping with surface sanitizing wipes.
